Life insurance with diabetes or after cancer.

A diagnosis can make life insurance feel complicated. Start by understanding what insurers may ask, what you want to protect and which questions need a private conversation.

No-charge insurance conversation. No obligation to purchase. Availability is confirmed before an appointment is arranged.

Coverage depends on the individual application. Eligibility, premiums and benefits vary by insurer, health history, policy and state. No diagnosis establishes approval or decline by every insurer. Please keep medical details out of the public request form.

Can I get life insurance with diabetes?

Diabetes does not automatically rule out coverage. Insurers may consider its type, when it was diagnosed, treatment, control, complications and your wider health history. The application may include health questions, records or an examination.

Different insurers may reach different decisions. Some applications can be postponed or declined; an estimate is not a final offer.

What about life insurance after cancer?

A cancer history may affect available coverage and pricing. Underwriters may ask about the diagnosis, stage, treatment, time since treatment or remission, and overall health.

There is no single waiting period or outcome that applies to every cancer survivor. Remission does not guarantee acceptance. Ask what information is needed before assuming a policy is available.

Compare the policy, not just the premium.

Start with the people who depend on you, the amount they might need and how long that need could last. Then compare any available offers.

Some policies have limited benefits during an initial period. “No medical exam” does not necessarily mean no health questions or guaranteed approval. Availability must be checked.

Questions before you apply

Should I cancel a policy I already have?

Keep existing coverage in force while comparing alternatives. A replacement can involve new underwriting, different costs and changed benefits. A review of your current policy can be a useful first step.

What should I prepare?

Know your current coverage, general protection goals and budget. If health records are needed, the appropriate professional will arrange a separate secure process. Do not submit diagnoses, treatment records or policy numbers through the public form or ordinary email.

Does this page discuss health insurance?

No. This page concerns life insurance, which is different from medical coverage. For separate health or Medicare questions, contact Gil through the health-coverage process; those products are not offered by Padua in California.

Your situation. Your questions. Your choice.

Padua can help you understand the insurance questions and identify what needs further review. Gil confirms the appropriate professional, state authority and next step. Submitting a request does not book an appointment.

Padua does not charge for insurance consultations or insurance services. If you purchase a policy, Padua may receive a commission from the insurer. Premiums and applicable product charges still apply. Tax work is separate: a free 15-minute introduction, then $285 per hour with scope and fees agreed first.
